Just returned from our vacation in Oahu and the Big Island and it was excellent! We worked with Kara and I gave her a list of some things my family and I wanted to do on our trip and she gave us lots of options and ideas and we came up with the perfect itinerary for us. She booked our flights and hotels. plus all the activities for us and we were ready with all our activity vouchers and instructions/directions before we even left. Kara made it easy for us to just enjoy our time in Hawai’i without worrying about the logistics of planning which activities we could do with the amount of time we had there. She also recommended a fabulous driving app that gave us a great history and lots of interesting facts and stopping points all along our driving routes and was especially wonderful at the Volcanoes National Park. Kara checked in with us each day of our trip and even came up with some ideas for any down time we had and also looked into other options for us when one of our kayaking trips was cancelled due to weather. I’m so glad we found Hawaii Aloha Travel and would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of a trip to Hawai’i!! Thanks for everything Kara!

I worked with Kara for about 5 months on our trip to Hawaii and she was fantastic! Usually I do all the planning for our annual summer trips, but Hawaii just seemed too difficult. I knew I needed help and while doing online research, I found Hawaii Aloha Travel. I called and left a message. Even though our time zones are 5 hours apart, Kara called back quickly. She asked a lot of questions about the types of vacations we like to do, what islands we were thinking about and what activities we might enjoy. She worked on a first draft of an itinerary based on our feedback and sent her recommended # dates on each island, possible flights and a couple hotel options. She also sent pages worth of recommended excursions. We kept refining and fine tuning the plan until it was all set. Their portal for making the deposit payments was convenient and I never felt any pressure to add things I wasn't interested in. There's another company called Aloha Hawaii travel that has terrible reviews with people saying they are a scam. Don't confuse that with Hawaii Aloha Travel as they are a legitimate, licensed travel agency with positive reviews. In the end we spent 3 nights on Maui, 4 nights on Kauai and 2 on Oahu. It was super easy booking everything through Kara. She provided all the vouchers and paperwork we'd need. She selected reputable companies she'd worked with before and all we needed to do was print the documents out. Kara checked in before each of our flights to make sure we were set and ready. For our free days, she gave us suggested driving itineraries based on the things I told her we were interested in. She was absolutely superb and very attentive to details. We had the most fabulous time in Hawaii! I definitely recommend Kara! If you're wondering what we did, we went to a luau, did the road to hana, had a Na Pali snorkel sail, went on a backcountry tubing adventure, went parasailing and of course hit up so many beaches!

This is our 2nd time using Hawaii Aloha Travel for our vacation. Being from Michigan I wanted a travel agent from Hawaii. Someone who knew their stuff, the ins and outs for all the islands. I found it with Abby and Hawaii Aloha Travel. Abby was fabulous to work with from start to finish. She answered all my questions from weather to excursions to transportation etc. Everything went smoothly both times with no unexpected events. The company worked with my budget and planned out everything we wanted to explore on the islands. I 💯 % recommend using Hawaii Aloha Travel. You won't regret it!

We had another wonderful trip to Hawaii thanks to Abby. Whenever we plan our vacation to Hawaii, Abby is our “go to” person and will continue to be that person. She makes it so our trips are easy and relaxing. We went to Maui and the Big Island this time and had an amazing trip. Swimming with turtles and seeing the monk seal, whales, dolphins, and manta rays is always fascinating. Thank you Abby for always making us feel special and making our trips the best they can be. We had the excellent opportunity to work with Abby for planning our amazing trip to Maui & Kauai. I wanted someone who would personally know what they are recommending, and Abby was great! We connected on the phone and went back and forth via email. Her suggestions were on point. We stayed in condos (Mana Kai in Maui - beach photo & Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort - pool photo) and it was perfect! I would of never found these options without her. We LOVED all the food options and grocery shopping was so easy. We even tried the Poke at the grocery store and it was honestly one of the best meals I had there! During the trip we had to change around some of our excursions and a quick email to Abby, she helped us out with a great recommendation for the Napali Coast tour on Kauai. Payments were easy. Booking the excursions through Abby was great and helped us narrow down our top choices. I added a photo of my boys favorite excurions on Kauai that she helped us book, which was the Back Country Tubing tour. It was WONDERFUL! One of her best recommendations was regarding our flights and I'm so glad we did it the way she suggested instead of a non-stop flight. Thank you Abby! Hopefully we can return again sooner than later!!

My wife and I just celebrated our 15-year anniversary with a trip to Oahu and the Big Island, and Abby at Hawaii Aloha Travel made it an experience we will never forget. She took care of absolutely everything our hotels, bus transportation to all of our events on Oahu, our rental car on the Big Island, and reservations for Pearl Harbor, shark cage diving, a Kona coffee tour, and even swimming with manta rays. What really stood out was her communication. Abby responded to every message within 12–24 hours, and she was incredibly patient when I needed to make changes. Every adjustment was handled quickly and without stress. Because of her planning, we didn’t have to think about what to do or how to do it. Everything was scheduled, and all we had to do was enjoy. This was truly our favorite trip we’ve ever taken. I even got to fulfill one of my biggest bucket-list dreams, swimming with sharks something I will always remember. If you’re planning a Hawaii vacation, whether it’s your first trip or your fifth, I can’t recommend this travel agency enough. When we return to Hawaii, we will absolutely use Abby again. Easily a 5-star service from start to finish.
